Terms of Service

These terms are between you and The Human Vector LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we," "us"). They cover your use of our website at thehumanvector.io and of our Report phishing apps for Gmail, Outlook, Front, Missive, and Thunderbird (the "apps"). By using the site or an app, you agree to them.
1. Customer accounts are covered by their own agreement
Organizations that use our security awareness platform do so under a signed agreement or order with us, or with the provider that serves them. If you sign in to the platform's console as an administrator of such an organization, that agreement governs the platform and your use of it. These terms cover only the public website and the apps.
2. The Report phishing apps
The apps are made available to your organization by us or by your organization's provider, and your organization decides who may use them. When you click Report, the app sends the one email you chose, and your work email address, to your organization's security team through our platform. It reads nothing else in your mailbox, and only at the moment you click. Use the apps only to report email you believe is suspicious. How we handle what the apps send is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, the apps, the platform, or anyone's data;
- probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the site or the platform;
- copy, scrape, or reuse our simulation content, training content, or other material without permission;
- use anything of ours to send unsolicited or deceptive email, or to simulate phishing against any person or organization you are not authorized to test. Authorized, consented simulation only.
4. Your information
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through the site and the apps, and how we use it. Your data is never used to train AI models, by us or by anyone who processes it for us.
5. Ownership
The site, the apps, and our simulation and training content belong to us and our licensors. Your own content and marks remain yours. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve our products without owing you anything for it.
6. No warranty
The site and the apps are provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Reporting an email through an app does not guarantee that it will be found to be malicious, or removed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the site or the apps. Our total liability arising from your use of the site or the apps under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for that use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a revised effective date. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and any dispute under them is brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
